(More customer reviews)I began editing audio using CoolEdit and then progressed to Audition 1 when Adobe bought the company. I was running version 1.5 when I decided to upgrade to 3.0. I should have saved my money.
Audition 3 is much slower to load than 1.5. It does have some nice additions but at the same time it has been a bit unstable on my machine (Windows XP SP2). My screen frequently flickers as Audition updates displays. The audio card configuration seems to change for no reason and I must reset the hardware preferences to get it back.
At the moment I have both 1.5 and 3.0 on my computer and I am trying to work through the issues with 3.0 in hopes of resolving my complaints should they be related to my hardware.
I would rate version 3.0 as a Beta release with issues that should have been resolved before releasing it to the public.
