(More customer reviews)Overall, I'd have to say it's a great product. However, I've had previous versions and have to say, its current interface isn't as user friendly as those in the past. But it does come with the Studio Instruments Drums plug-in and the Soundstation software synth is really nice. I bought some of the add-ons for the soundstation and they sound Great.
If you have used earlier versions, you will probably be thrown off by the new interface but you will be impressed by some of the sofware synths that come with it. It works great in Windows 7 64 bit on both my laptop and desktop as well, so I have no complaints about its functionality. I will say, though, that I was irritated by the fact that the look of the interface had changed significantly since the last version I purchased, which was CMC 4. That is really my only complaint. I was completely satisfied with the interface of version 4, so the new interface was a bit of a disappointment. Not very user friendly at all, in my opinion. It's almost like having to relearn it. Almost. You can't beat the value though. A lot of great features for the price and you can always buy add-ons for it that will add to it's functionality. I hope this review helps.
