(More customer reviews)Won't run, keeps bombing. And the name is highly misleading, it says 'total training' and you think you are going to get trained as a newcomer to the product. Firstly can't use it because it bombs, but the packaging shows it's not even what it implies, you have to already be an expert with a prior Office version or something. What use is that to a newbie?

I already know how to use most of the features in excel but to be able to look up things like what a pivot table is was outstanding. My 12 year old boy who knows nothing about spreadsheets goes through the training and within a few days is already making spreadsheets for his newspaper route.

Microsoft Windows Small Business Server Essentials 2011 Review

(More customer reviews)SBS Essentials (SBSE) is primarily Windows Home Server with Active Directory support. There are a few other features, but it grew out of Aurora which was the upscale version of WHS. One thing it lacks is automatic update of computers in the network, but if you want a server with automatic backup, remote access and simplicity, this is easy.
NO, it doesn't have all the features of SBS 2011, but at half the cost, you must ask yourself what features are you looking for.
I demoed Aurora and worked with a temporary copy of SBSE and all I had to do was input the serial number and it became permanent. I did not have to reinstall. This was good because I should have been able to extend my demo copy but it did not work. Didn't matter, I had already made up my mind.
This is OEM. You cannot move it to another computer, so build well. I'm not sure why it is about $130 less than other versions except that it is OEM.

(More customer reviews)Happily I haven't had to use LoJack but knowing my laptop is protected when traveling is a very secure feeling. It's simple to install and configure. If I don't use that laptop for awhile they e-mail me asking that I log onto LoJack and confirm everything is still working so I'm confident there is a reliable monitoring system in place. Buying from Amazon makes it even better, about half the price as anywhere else. Good product and if Amazon sells it, this is where I buy it.

Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac Review

(More customer reviews)I have been using VMWare Fusion almost since it was released, and have been generally happy with it. However, after a recent update my machines seem to have slowed down, and VMWare consumes a lot of CPU even when my virtual machines are idle. I decided to try Parallels 7, and I am SO GLAD that I did. It is way faster, way more polished, and easy to customize the way I like. I wish I would have switched years ago!!! Importing from my VMWare machines as as simple as pressing a button ... it was all automatic and worked perfectly for me. I like to run in "full screen" mode when I am using Windows, and Parallel's Lion support makes this much smoother (each machine in full screen mode gets its own "space" in OSX Lion).
Anyone who is using VMWare and who isn't totally happy with it should consider switching now!!!
p.s. VMWare Fusion users can get a copy for $29 from Parallel's web site ... do a google search to find the order page. You just need to enter your VMWare Fusion license to qualify.
