I occasionally need to type in Korean for work, and needed a Korean keyboard for my company laptop. But couldn't put stickers on the keys. I saw this on Amazon and decided to give it a try.
This isn't a custom keyboard skin for one specific laptop: It's designed to fit a range of slimline and laptop keyboards. As such, it's very thin and shallow, resting on top of the keys and not going too deeply around them (but deep enough that it stays in place). It's molded for beveled keys, which helps. I don't know how many models it fits, but it fits both my HP/Compaq 3910p and my old Toshiba Satellite like a glove.
Now, does it work? Yes, and quite well. I'm able to type without any difficulty. It flexes very well, and hitting one key doesn't force adjoining keys down. If I had one complaint, it would be that the skin shifts slightly during extended typing. This is a minor annoyance, as I don't use it all the time.
Please note that you don't get an absolutely perfect fit on keyboards with trackpoints in them (like my HP). The trackpoint prevents the skin from settling completely onto the keys around it. You could probably fix this by punching a hole in the correct spot to allow the trackpoint to poke through the skin.
Got a laptop and need to periodically type in Korean (or other language -- I imagine their other skins are just as good)? Don't want to put stickers on the keys? This product is worth a serious look.
