(More customer reviews)I used different antivirus software, the fist one was norton(3 years ago, slow and crappy), then used AVG and Kaspersky and McAfee, they won't slow down your pc much and the protection were not bad, except that sometimes when I browsed the internet, still got virus infection. Then I bought Vipre from sunbelt due to the good rating from some web sites and magzines. But again, I kept on getting virus sometimes and only Malwarebytes(free version) can detect and clean them.
Yesterday, a virus from "antispyware soft" totally blowed away my pc, I could not run any software, nor could I use IE or firefox, Vipre was knocked out of its place, totally disabled by this virus, and windows reported that my pc had no anti-virus software installed (the red shield icon was showed up).
Though finally I found some tricks and started Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware(free version), and it detected 10 infections and kicked all of them out of my pc.
Overall, for more than 2 years, when something was wrong to my pc due to virus or malware infection, it was always Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (free version) saved my ass, and literally no others so far could save my pc out of that situation.
Maybe Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is not perfect either, however, so far so good, it is best of the best. I purchased a license and now it is providing me with real time protection from yesterday on.
Lessons are hard to learn sometimes, you can still use other anti-virus protection software, but just install this addtional Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware in your pc (free version, without real time protection), and update it now and then, in case, you were hit, you could turn to Malwarebyte as your savior.
