Basically, Dateline rented a house in a SMALL town and had one of their people pose as a 14 year old girl in a chat room. The girl didn't voluntarily chat with anybody, but did respond to the massive number of people who sent her private messages.
Over the course of just two days, 18 men came to visit the house to try to have sex with the 14 year old girl, all documented on camera by Dateline on their September 24, 2004 episode. I highly recommend viewing the segment.
At the end of the hour, Dateline recommended several products, but none more highly than Spector Pro, which they said recorded everything your child does on the Internet.
