(More customer reviews)I am a reasonable intelligent person able to figure many things out on my own but I cannot, for the life of me, figure this program out. Yes, getting my mini-dv movie into the program was very easy and I was excited to begin the editing process. I first decided to just play around with it intuitively but found it to be very un-intuitive friendly. So I picked up the manual and read it. I STILL can't figure it out! I still haven't been able to perform a simple act like cutting a small clip out. Why? Because the timeline that moves along the video moves over pictures of the REST of the video while the real-time video plays on a separate screen. Also, you can't slow the speed of the video. Both of these things effect the precision of your cut. Another thing I don't like about this program is that it doesn't allow you to pick out clips and create a movie from them. Instead it gives you your entire video and makes you edit it as a whole. Messy. Finally, the video screen that allows you to watch real-time has an "X" button in the upper right corner that I pressed after it played a tutorial for me. I thought I was "X-ing" out of the tutorial back to my video but it turns out I "X-ed" out of the video, too. So... How do I get it back??? I've read all through the manual, looked through all the options on the screen and I can't get it back. So now I REALLY can't do anything! I've read many good reviews on this product and, obviously, people figure it out and have success. But honestly, the things that I DO know about it combined with what I DON'T know have made me so frustrated - and quite honestly angry - that I don't even want to try having success with it. This was a waste of money for me and I hope I can return it somehow.
