(More customer reviews)I use Premiere quite a bit but jump over to Canopus/Grass Valley occasionally to use features in their breakout box. Neo is at the top of the entry level product heap. Nothing else comes close. Although it is missing many of the high end plugins of its bigger siblings, everything you need to capture, edit and render in HD is here. The native HD templates work great at all resolutions and frame rates. The Canopus HD video codec is also one of the most robust, particularly in color correction and matching but you can edit using any other installed codec. This software is a great place to start for a user that wants good production value and is ready to move beyond Movie Maker on a tight budget.
For the money, this is the best deal out there at the entry level and for less than $500.
