(More customer reviews)Yes, this is an older program. It does; however, work on XP. Follow these steps:
1. Install the program
2. RIGHT CLICK on Spooky Icon
3. Click on Properties
4. Click on Compatibility Mode
5. Click on 256 Compatibility in Windows 2000
...and it should load fine...it worked for me. Good luck. This is the absolute best typing program I ever used with my kids. It is fun and engaging and they were typing in a day and couldn't wait to get back to it. They should make it again.
