(More customer reviews)The software works. But, what they don't tell you is that if you don't pay an additional $69.95 (in my case) per year, they will stop sending you the reports showing you any of the activity you purchased the software for.
Again, the product actually works, but I don't appreciate the "bait and switch" tactic or rather the "hidden fees" required to pay an extra $69.95 per year to continue to receive the Activity Reports for the computer you install eBlaster on.
Furthermore, they continue to send you a notice to renew the hidden annual fee instead of the usual Activity Reports until you either pay the hidden annual fee or uninstall the eBlaster software.
Here's an example of one of the notices from Spectorsoft:
On Jun 20, 2011, your eBlaster Ultimate Care EXPIRED! SpectorSoft does not provide Activity Report Delivery Service for customers without an active Ultimate Care membership.
Please renew your Ultimate Care NOW to restart your Activity Reports by choosing one of these options:
Renew Online at a special reduced price. Additional discounts for multi-year renewals.
Renew by Phone: 1-888-598-2788 (North America) or +1-772-770-5670 (everywhere else), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Renew by Email: Sales@SpectorSoft.com
If you wish to stop receiving these expiration notification messages, then please uninstall eBlaster by:
From ANY computer, click here to link to the online Control Panel. Login with your password and select Uninstall
Going to the computer where eBlaster is installed, using your hot-key combination and password to open eBlaster , and selecting Uninstall from the menu
