(More customer reviews)I never would have guessed that learning Final Cut Pro 7 could actually be easy.
This is an awesome course taught by a true professional. I'd tinkered with other video editing programs in the past with decent results, but I knew from reading countless articles online that Final Cut was the real standard. And since I had a Mac, the purchase decision was a no-brainer. Once I got the program, though, it sat on my computer for a few months, practically unused. I looked up some walkthroughs on Youtube, and actually tried some of them out, and there were some "show off" kind of tips, but I just couldn't wrap all the information together into a real project. So I decided to venture out for some professional help.
I looked at a few different video help sites. I knew I didn't want to read a book to learn such a visual program. I tried the sample tutorial videos on all the services, and without a doubt Infinite Skills impressed me the most. Andy Anderson, the instructor, is funny, well informed, and just enjoyable to listen to. He also takes you all the way through the editing process, with detailed tips importing and capture.
I guess the only con is that the training course doesn't show you how to shoot better video. Time for me to brush up on my camera skills, because now my editing is now solid. I still re-watch some of the lessons anytime I need to brush up.
