I Love Math 1.1 Review

(More customer reviews)Math software that my boys actually like... and ASK to use... and play again without complaint. Nice setup, basic animation but the element of humor makes it work. There is a prepatory exercise before each question that gets the kids revved up and they don't even realize it's happening. The questions themselves require brainpower, and I feel as though they are actually learning through playing this game.

School Zone Second Grade Win/Mac Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter went through the entire exercises in one afternoon. This CD-ROM might be more of a challenge for 1st grade students. She did enjoy the exersices, and it was a great way for her to practice her computer skills. Overall she enjoys reviewing the material on the disc. Great for beginning readers.

JumpStart Toddlers - Vista Compatible Review

(More customer reviews)I have 3-4 jumpstart programs. These are good. Kids 3 and 5 year old love them. But unfortunately the programs does not install on the PC. Installation just put the link on the desktop. Everytime you have to put the CD into the computer, only then you can start the program. With kids CDs can be easily damaged. Without CD the program will not run. If you have your PC put inside the cabinet it may be a big hassle to change CDs everytime you want to run the programs.
It would be good if the programs get installed on PC and you never have to bother about CDs again. But seems like company is deliberately not letting it installed on computer so that you buy new CD if it gets corrupted. SMART way to rip-off. I'll think 10 times before I buy any Jumpstart program again. I would give 5 stars to appreciate the programmers efforts to make these programs very useful. But I'll deduct 2 stars for company's dirty tricks.

(More customer reviews)There needs to be a "no star" rating. There is no way to move back and forth between levels if your kid cannot finish them. If you cannot finish the Mah Jong level - not because of math skills but because the tiles don't line up - you have no choice but to do it over again. You cannot progress otherwise.
Both my wife and I are very computer savvy - I design databases for fun - and this software is beyond salvage. The authors should be forbidden to write software. The positive reviews were written by company stooges who never used the product. We want our $15 back plus the hours of our lives we wasted on this sadistic product.

My First Math Adventure: Counting & Sorting 1.1 Review

series of games to work only on a Mac, NOT on an XP machine as one would think
from the descriptions. If you've got a Mac and can get this cheap, it is a steal. The
games themselves are very well made.
